DISHWASHER- Greek House Chefs

Job Description POSITION TITLE: Dishwasher/Hasher REVISED: May 2022 FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt/Hourly SUPERVISOR’S TITLE: Executive Chef Essential Function: • Maintain a clean kitchen, properly wash, and sort soiled dishes, and prep food as needed. Keep dish area free of clutter and well organized. • Set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks. • Maintain clean/dry floors throughout scheduled shift. • Properly wash, stack, and store China, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers. • Change water in machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly use chemical dilutions set by EcoLab. • Assist in the timely storing of food deliveries. • Maintain trash cans throughout shift and remove full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift. • Maintain the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves. • Follow the posted daily dish cleaning duties. • Assist in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed. • Assist in cleaning of service, dining, and pantry areas • Complete all other account specified needs under the direction of the assigned kitchen lead.
