Your Responsibilities
As a Display System Engineer for John Deere Construction and Forestry (C&F) located in Dubuque, IA, you will...

• Defining software functional requirements and interface for displays.
• Coordinate display software delivery with the Product Groups, UX, Requirement, and Software PV&V teams.
• Define and integrate display hardware and software into vehicle platforms.
• Support current production hardware field issues.

• Experience writing functional, performance, and/or durability requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Project leadership experience, demonstrating scheduling, task planning and resource management.
• Ability to work in a self-directed environment.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Technical experience relating to design and diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Technical skills and knowledge in CAN communications protocols such as the J1939 and ISO 14229 standards
• Technical skills and knowledge in Ethernet communication protocol.
• Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering or MIT/CalTech certificate completion
• Familiarity with operating Construction, Forestry, or Ag off-road equipment.

Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in System Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
