Job Summary

This position is responsible for reviewing loan information contained in the Loan Origination System (LOS) to determine if the correct action as defined by Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Regulation C has been applied. You will also complete withdraws and denial of loan files to ensure loans are dispositioned accurately, timely and in compliance with policies and procedures.  

Essential Job Function:

• Research questionable determinations and consult with the manager for final determination

• Issue daily the Statement of Credit Denial, Termination or Change for any applicable loan files

• Ensure that all HMDA related fields within the LOS have been correctly entered and completely input

• Perform periodic HMDA information audits

• Assist with the annual HMDA reporting process, as requested

Job Competencies:

• The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

• Candidate must have a detailed review skill set, strong problem-solving ability and the ability to prioritize tasks

• Candidate has good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of mortgage experience

• Preferred processing and closing experience
