Job Description
The Distribution Engagement Director executes market-facing communication plans, programs, and events; and builds and strengthens industry partnerships that seek to advance CNA's position as a market leader. This individual contributor role collaborates across CNA's business units and with Field and Broker Strategy leadership to strengthen CNA's brand, and to drive customer retention and profit improvement.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
- Actively contribute to the annual agent and broker marketing plan and strategy to help increase brand awareness and drive performance for all CNA branches.
- Lead, coordinate and otherwise execute CNA's end-to-end participation in major industry events, including but not limited to the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) and the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all event attendees, handling all attendee communication from initial acceptance to post-event follow-up.
- Attend and directly oversee the detailed execution of major events and programs, focusing on tone, message and brand compliance; the overall experience for CNA's distribution network; and the impact and value of these events and programs on business objectives.
- Measure the effectiveness, overall experience and return on investment of the industry events and programs in which CNA participates (through post mortems, attendee surveys. Analyzes data and uses findings to inform CNA's future event and program design and execution.
- Collaborate with Marketing to promote appetite and product communication, taking national Marketing strategies to point of sale.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and regional marketing programs and events. Implement enhancements to drive further progress on growth goals.
- Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
- Stay up to date on industry developments and best practices.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

- Strong ability to interact and communicate with internal and external business partners within scope of responsibility, team and/or matrix environment.
- Proven project and program management skills; a strong detail orientation.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and in depth knowledge of the organization's products, policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Value driven to provide superior solutions to internal and/or external customers.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Cvent and other business related software.
- Ability to travel to event and CNA Field locations as necessary.
Education & Experience
1. Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or equivalent.
2. Typically a minimum of 10 years related work experience in marketing, strategic event planning and execution, and communications.

Compensation Range
$144,000.00 - $180,000.00
