We have recently elevated the function by hiring our first Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, Rachel Cheeks-Givan, to drive a truly global DEI strategy and ensure that we embed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in all that we do.  

• Creating a resource library of DE&I articles and reference materials from key diversity research organizations (e.g., Catalyst, COQUAL, HACR, HRC, etc.). 
• Helping design a new iCapital DEI page on our company intranet, the ‘Hub,’ and benchmark creative ways to leverage social media for DEI. 
• Designing a proposal for iCapital’s global DEI summit. 
• Researching top diversity internship programs and providing recommendations for future internship diversity recruiting.
• Scheduling a Courageous Conversation between interns and the head of DEI to gather their unique insights and perspectives.
• Assisting the Head of DEI in developing new initiatives.
• Spearheading a project to create an inclusive culture at iCapital (e.g., virtual inclusion coffee chats, etc.).
• Attending at least one DEI event or conference and reporting key takeaways. 

• Highly inquisitive, collaborative, and a creative problem solver 
• Possesses foundational knowledge of and/or genuine interest in the financial markets 
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment 
• Adaptable to take on new responsibilities and be detail oriented 
• Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• A rising junior or senior in a U.S. college/university bachelor’s degree program
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Authorized to work in the United States*
