The Diversity Recruitment Manager is responsible for supporting enterprise DE&I initiatives through the lens of Talent Acquisition. You will serve as the subject matter expert to the CNA Talent Acquisition team and enable the activation of DE&I recruitment strategies across the enterprise. In this role, you will lead CNA's Diversity Recruiting Team and drive key diversity recruitment projects and change management initiatives across a variety of business critical programs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities
  • Lead an outsourced team of Talent Acquisition professionals responsible for identifying, engaging, and presenting diverse talent for opportunities across the enterprise.
  • Define, track, and share key performance metrics including, but not limited to, funnel metrics, branding, candidate experience, and employee experience. Regularly analyze the results of metrics in order to drive team performance and make recommendations to senior leadership across HR.
  • Design a scorecard to share performance against key talent diversity strategies with stakeholders across HR.
  • Partner with VP of Talent Acquisition and CNA's Office of DE&I to determine future talent needs and design/deliver multi-year talent strategies.
  • Create operational plans in partnership with recruiting teams to drive best in class candidate experiences and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Serve as thought leader and project manager for key DE&I initiatives including, but not limited to: Employment Branding, Strategic Partnerships, Internal Mobility, Talent Retention, and Reporting.
  • Serve as liaison to key internal stakeholders such as the Office of DE&I, CNA's Employee Resource Groups, HR Business Partners, and Business Partners.
  • Spearhead all elements of CNA's Apprenticeship Program including, but not limited to, recruitment, selection, onboarding, and vendor management.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Experience with corporate Talent Acquisition functions and a thorough understanding of best practices, technology, and processes.
  • DE&I strategy and/or execution experience with a focus on Talent Acquisition and/or Program Management.
  • Experience managing or coaching direct reports or leading outsourced recruitment functions (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to create, develop, and execute recruiting strategies.
  • Expertise in diverse recruitment strategies and developing strategic talent pipelines. Proven history of blending the two skills as part of a diversity pipeline strategy.
  • Experience leading complex projects within Talent Acquisition and/or the broader HR community. Ability to act as subject matter expert by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge across the enterprise. Experience in a client facing role, including excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner.
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities and setting clear expectations with stakeholders.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Typically a minimum of five to seven years of experience within corporate Talent Acquisition functions and a thorough understanding of best practices, technology, and processes.
  • Typically a minimum of two to three years of experience with DE&I strategy and/or execution experience with a focus on Talent Acquisition and/or Program Management.
  • Prefer one to two years of experience managing a team directly/indirectly or managing outsourced capabilities.
