Diversity Talent Acquisition Recruiter

The Role 

We are seeking an exceptionally talented individual to join our team as a Diversity Talent Acquisition Recruiter. Reporting into the Head of Diversity Recruiting and working alongside the Head of Infrastructure Talent Acquisition, this individual will work closely across business teams to execute the firm’s talent acquisition strategy in conjunction with our ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI). The Diversity Talent Acquisition Recruiter will facilitate the implementation of initiatives aligned to our DEI strategy within TA and across the broader organization. They will serve as a recruiting liaison for talent engagement. This is a high impact role that will be directly responsible for fostering and developing relationships with external and internal stakeholders across various departments.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

What you’ll do 

This individual will own the execution of sourcing for talent aligned to the firms DE&I pillars. They will develop effective strategies and channels for sourcing candidates, which includes but is not limited to social recruiting tools, employee resource groups, employee referrals, networking, and hosting/attending meetups and other events. They will develop a big picture understanding of our business, brand & values, and act as a champion of our tag line “Talent is our strategy.”  They will represent Schonfeld’s brand and be a firm ambassador both internally and externally by establishing relationships with top talent and clearly communicating Schonfeld’s vision and opportunities. This individual will target and recruit active and passive candidates and build pipelines ahead of demand. They will manage candidate and prospect relationships effectively by leveraging a system for keeping them warm and engaged.

What you’ll bring

What you need:

• 7+ years of recruiting experience (mix of agency and in-house ideal, but not required); 3+ years prior experience focused on recruiting diverse talent 
• Broad knowledge of talent pools, trends and tools that will give Schonfeld the best opportunity to develop relationships with diverse talent
• Strong relationship building and networking abilities including leveraging an existing network of diverse candidates
• Knowledge and understanding of the diversity space including partnerships, conferences, and best practices
• Experience with event planning and end to end execution
• Ability to continually prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environment 
• Strong attention to detail and exceptionally organized 
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form
• Managing recruiting searches as needed
