Diversity Talent Advisor III - Recruiter

To further this feeling, we have created a new position: Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Talent Advisor. The D&I Talent Advisor will be a critical part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team and will guide Ball Aerospace in providing diverse representation, ensuring an equitable process and modeling inclusive thinking and behavior. This role will be a subject matter expert on diversity recruitment strategies and will develop candidate pipelines in support of our niche positions, both in support of our company diversity goals and initiatives. As a member of the Talent Advisor team, this role also works closely with our D&I team and sourcing team supporting our Strategic Business & Capabilities Units (SBUs and SCUs).
What You'll Do:
- Inclusivity & Allyship:
- Serve as a change agent leading the organization forward as opportunities arise for innovation in diversity talent acquisition.
- Role model inclusive leadership, intentionality and commitment to hiring and developing the best.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition leadership team to create a formal framework for assessing initiatives and best practices for recruiting diverse talent and providing an inclusive recruitment experience.
- Act as primary liaison between TA and D&I.
- Provide consultative guidance and liaise across Ball Network Groups.
- Recruitment & Sourcing:
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of effective diversity sourcing plans with internal client stakeholders to attract and engage prospective diverse candidates.
- Attract passive diverse candidates for potential scarce and critical roles, delivering a positive experience through every candidate interaction.
- Analyze the return on investment for the diversity sourcing strategy in partnership with TA Operations.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of diverse sourcing techniques and knowledge of technology (Boolean search logic/deep web sourcing)
- Build and maintain a formal tracking process and a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management and engage in casual conversations with candidates to share about Ball Aerospace and to encourage them to apply.
- Act as a diversity talent advisor for hiring leaders supporting their selection process while working with your Talent Advisor partners, where needed, finalize offers details and remaining engaged with the candidates to drive higher acceptance rates.
- Participates in diversity-focused career fairs and events in partnership with the TA team, the D&I team and the Ball Network Groups.
- Strategy & Projects:
- Partner with Talent Advisors and hiring organizations to help shape the direction diversity & inclusion TA strategy by launching innovations, surfacing trends, and driving impactful initiatives.
- In partnership with our Marcom team, demonstrate proven ability to execute diversity branding strategy.
- Engage with our Campus Relations team and provide support and guidance when needed.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or related field, plus 6 or more years of experience within Human Resources, specializing in Talent Acquisition.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Experience with full lifecycle recruitment in a fast-paced organization.
- Experience in bringing diversity recruitment best practices to improve sourcing and pipelining.
- Experience with DoD, aerospace or government contracting preferred.
- Experience working and reporting within an applicant tracking system, SuccessFactors preferred.
Flexible On-Site Work Environment: For those living in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three or more days per work week. Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
Off-Site Work Environment: For those living outside of Colorado who cannot relocate, this position may be performed remotely, typically at the employee's home, and may require periodic work at a specified Ball location. Travel/commute to various Ball and/or customer locations at time when not "home based" may be required.
Working Conditions:
- Ball Aerospace is a drug-free workplace, which is imperative to the health and safety of all employees and is required as a condition of receiving contracts from federal agencies. Please remember that regardless of the legalization of marijuana in Colorado and other states, possession and use continues to be illegal under the federal Controlled Substances Act. This includes the use of some CBD products. A post-offer, pre-employment drug test is a condition of employment.
- Work is performed in an office environment.
Relocation for this position is available.
Compensation & Benefits:
- HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,500 - $109,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
