We are currently seeking an experiencedDivisional Controllerto join our team. This high-impact role is responsible for the financial leadership of a 10+ branch division operating across 5 states. The Divisional Controller will oversee regional accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide actionable financial insights to drive growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all financial operations within the division, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure accuracy of multi-entity financial consolidations and reporting.
• Monitor and manage divisional cash flow and working capital.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and performance metrics.
• Own the annual budgeting process and deliver ongoing financial forecasting.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide timely financial guidance to senior leadership and support strategic initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor regional finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and executive leadership to support divisional goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or controller role.
• Proven experience overseeing multi-location operations with $50M+ in annual revenue.
• Residential service industry experience required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, regulatory reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, ServiceTitan, and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed to support regional operations.
