The Dominion DMS Senior Manager of Business Development is responsible for establishing and managing the ongoing relationships with Vendor Partners, who need access to bi-directional secure data integration with Dominion DMS, as prioritized by the business strategy. The relationship includes understanding current and future technology and services offerings the DMS Business has made available for integration. The end result for the vendor and the dealership customer is their increased satisfaction with Dominion DMS as a valued partner. The Senior Manager should continually find ways to increase Dominion DMS' reputation with third parties and dealers more quickly in order to drive the revenue line.
Key to this role is the ability to secure new Vendor Partners by articulating the value of Dominion DMS in a changing and challenging marketplace and driving the development of integration as quickly as possible. Once the integration is complete, the Senior Manager will continue to manage and influence the Vendor Partner relationship through a deep understanding of the Vendor Partner's business as well as a deep understanding of how dealers utilize the Vendor Partner and Dominion technology solutions. In addition to the industry and business acumen needed for the role, the Senior Manager should also possess a grasp of the competitive DMS market and how the Partner relationship can be leveraged to give Dominion DMS an advantage in the market.
The Senior Manager maintains strong internal working relationships with the Dominion DMS Account Managers, Marketing, Implementation, Product Management, and Development teams to secure the resources and investment needed to drive success. The Senior Manager ensures Dominion DMS / Partner relationship alignment with key decision makers and influencers to execute the overall DMS strategy.

Role and Responsibilities
- Secures new Vendor Partners and maintains existing contracts with an emphasis on value and service.
- Serve as an escalation point for issues that impact the Vendor Partners' success--accountable for working cross-functionally with Dominion DMS teams to identify issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Assist in launching go-to-market strategy for Vendor Partner Programs.
- Apply knowledge of customers, industry, and products to achieve revenue objectives.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Automotive Industry Software Community business challenges and objectives to appropriately map solutions supported by Vendor Partner programs and associated business benefits to their needs.
- Coordinate activities across the organization to increase market share within Franchise Dealers.
- Collect, organize, and report on external data that impacts the Vendor Partner.
- Evaluate and report on Vendors' strategic business moves, including purchases, sales, and distribution.
Qualifications
- Automotive Dealer Management System (DMS), OEM and/or automotive 3rd party vendor application vendor experience required
- BA/BS degree (or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant partnership or sales experience in the Automotive Industry
- Strong executive presence with polished communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and foster honest dialog while avoiding conflict
- Excellent dealer operations (acquisition to disposal) understanding and consultative skills expertise
- An action-oriented self-starter with a considerable track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Resourceful, finding ways to get things done regardless of the obstacles
- Deep knowledge of Data Services programs and the Automotive Industry with a background in the SaaS
- Experience in GTM partnerships, operations, and strategy
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving and project management capabilities
- Ability to travel, as needed (approx. 30%)
