The company is currently seeking an experienced Financial Accountant IV.

Responsibilities

Position Summary/ Primary Purpose

The Financial Accountant Analyst IV is responsible for assuring the integrity and completeness of the general ledger and financial statements. Assumes responsibility and works with a high degree of accuracy utilizing data from multiple systems. This position reports to the Accounting manager, Controller or Treasurer

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Prepares and reviews the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, including reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations.
  • Prepares and reviews A/R and A/P process
  • Prepares and reviews income statements, balance sheets, consolidated financial statements and various other accounting/financial reports.
  • Manage annual budgeting process and monthly actual vs. budget comparison analysis.
  • Addresses internal/external audits and J- SOX compliance testing
  • Execute J-SOX process as the inspector to the DNAHC subsidiaries.
  • Supports and executes ongoing process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Process banking transactions. Manage cash balance and future cashflow plans.
  • Adress ASU, IFRS and other new regulations with Daifuku Japan and DNAHC subsidiaries.
  • Leads operations and improvement project execution related to the corporate guidelines, governance policies, risk managements and internal controls.

Knowledge

  • Computer Programs- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP
  • English Language- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Qualifications

Skills & Abilities

  • Typing speed/ 40WPM. Word Per Minute (WPM) is measured by calculating how many words (5 characters/keystrokes = 1 word) you can type in 1 minute.
  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Possess intellectual agility; readily accepts challenges of unfamiliar task.
  • Speaks and writes clearly and effectively even when relating complex information. Expresses ideas in a concise and organized manner.
  • Strong organizational, planning and documentation skills.
  • Dependable and trustworthy

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 6+ years of accounting experience
  • CPA or MBA a plus

Demonstrated Physical Abilities

Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
