How Will You Make a Difference?

• Accurately docket USPTO and foreign patent mail into the docketing system according to established procedures.
• Generate and monitor daily docket of deadlines and ensure that deadlines are met, and system is properly updated.
• Review incoming and outgoing emails/faxes/mail and update docketing systems as necessary.
• Provide auditing service for matters and docketed actions to ensure quality control of client data.
• Assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing documents in the firm's APS system.

What Will You Bring to the Table?

• 3+ years US and/or Foreign IP patent docketing or patent paralegal experience is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of docketing of patent processes.
• Ability to identify issues and problems and proactively work to solve them.
• Professional conduct, service-oriented attitude and acute attention to detail.
• Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances.
• Experience using IP docketing software, such as PATTSY or Foundation IP is preferred.
• This role is mostly remote with the exception of quarterly staff meetings and special events. Commutable distance to one of our office locations is required.
