Position Description
Origis is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to lead the document control and coordination efforts of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) team. Position includes document management of project-related activities including, but not limited to, document coordination between the internal EPC team, other internal teams, external teams such as contractors, engineers, and lenders, and the transition to the operating team.
The Document Control Administrator is a regular, full-time position, and is eligible for our generous employee benefits package, including employer paid health insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, and other great benefits.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the EPC PM's on project documentation and coordination efforts
- Ensure consistent file sharing efforts across projects and throughout the organization
- Coordinate efforts throughout the EPC team
- Coordinate EPC efforts with other business groups, including Finance, Accounting, Business Development, Project Development, Procurement, Legal and other critical internal functions
- Document controls, especially during major project milestones which include financial milestones
- Assist with Operations turnover
- Lead on all document control related to shipping of all stored (Safe Harbor) material
- Develop and maintain standard processes/procedures and coordinate consistent document control and implementation across all PMs and projects
- Coordinate efforts between the EPC team and external business partners
- Assist EPC PM's with project-related administrative tasks
- Manage communication flow for contract submittals, project reporting, invoicing, vendor submittals, and other documentation between the external parties
- Assist the EPC team with SAP efforts
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational and time management skills; Acute awareness and ability to manage deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Passion for renewable projects is preferred especially solar projects
