Document Control Specialist
Job Description
Position Overview:
Solid Power is seeking a Document Control Specialist to join our talented team working to revolutionize the battery industry through the development of next generation, all solid-state rechargeable batteries. Solid Power is a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Job Duties:
- Production Cards
- Print Production card as directed by manufacturing requirements.
- Review completed production cards for make sure that are fully filled completed.
- Enter any required data into the computer system as required by the QE.
- File document as required.
- Document Control
- Assist in the development of process documentation, as well as delivering training to process owners on the correct document structure and control tool usage.
- Oversee the receipt of certain files and assess the accuracy of the documents. Once files are checked for completeness, record the document according to system requirements.
- Coordinate with all employees to track and issue documents, check that the documents comply with regulations and work with production to revise documentation where needed.
- Scan documents or images, then organize them to maintain them, adhering to the company’s document lifecycle procedures. Any inactive documents and records are then archived per requirements.
- Receive “Requests for Information,” or RFIs, from clients and employees, and maintain these requests using tracking logs, which are updated as document control specialists create new templates accordingly.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A high level of organizational skills, effective planning, and final management experience.
- Great typing skills and ability to pick up software and programs quickly including MS Office and Process Mapping.
- Strong communication skills and ability to be self-motivated.
- A high-level integrity along with experience working with confidential information.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
Salary Range: $15.38 - $28.84/hour
