What You'll Do
The Document Control Specialist is responsible for storing, managing, and tracking all relevant documents, certifications, and product files for the QCR department. The Document Control Specialist will help develop a database to ensure that all said documentation is maintained in a functional manner, that all documents are accurate and accessible to all team members. These activities include receiving, reviewing, categorizing, scanning, filing, and tracking documents vital to the functioning of the QCR team.
In addition, the Document Control Specialists will be supporting and assisting in the creation and submitting of certain federal and state regulatory and compliance documentation. The Document Control Specialist will also help support in the development and maintenance of the departments Quality Management System as needed.

  • Develop and maintain a digital Document Management System (DMS) for the QCR department
  • Convert selected hard copy files to digital format and maintain within DMS
  • Create a log-and-track system to ensure documentation is most up to date version
  • Assist in the coordinate efforts associated with the preparation and submittal of federal and state regulatory documentation
  • Compile and maintain regulatory documentation databases
  • Aid in the development and maintenance of the QCR department's Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Respond to the requests for documentation and distribute them as needed
  • Assist in the tracking and receipt of product test samples and consumer returns


Bring It!

  • AAS degree STEM related field (Science, Technical, Engineering, Math) or currently attending a technical program at College or equivalent or High School education with 5 years relevant experience
  • Familiar with Information System applications for management of regulatory and/or quality systems.
  • Some familiarity with applicable regulations, standards, and laws including: ISO, FDA, ASTM, and global regulatory for consumer products, etc.
  • Juvenile & Infant product knowledge experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and keep records.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good computer skills including literacy with Excel and Word. Familiarity with SalesForce, Workfront a plus.

Salary range: $26.00- 31.00/hour
