Document Management Specialist
Job Description
Copper River Technologies is seeking a Document Management Specialist to join our team. This individual will be managing the maintenance and upgrades of Bentley software as well as collaborate with the team to resolve engineering applications issues.Â
This position will be on-site in Arlington VA.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Meet with Support team members and branch leads to understand document requirements.
- Meet with and develop ties with engineering to understand where WHS can further improve quality and enhance our capabilities through standardized consistency, improved workflows, and newer applications.
- Identify areas that could benefit from improvement.
- Manage maintenance and upgrades of Bentley software that significantly impact the organization and review costs associated with software.
- Collaborate with support team to resolve escalated issues related to engineering applications and project files.
- Work with staff and customers to develop, build, implement and manage compliance of standards.
- Provide timely, flexible solutions through analysis of business practices by working with staff and customers to understand requirements and develop solutions.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, or related physical or geospatial science or a 7 years’ professional experience in Bentley ProjectWise, including Bentley and Autodesk suite of applications.
- Skills/Experience:
- Organizing physical and electronic records; this may include, but not limited to indexing, scanning, labeling, barcoding, filing and storage to a common digital archive.
- Experience managing NARA documents.
- Bentley ProjectWise administrator experience.
- Records management Subject Matter Expert (SME); NARA certification a plus.
- Developing workflows and implementing document approval processes.
- Assessing new and advocating current practices, designing software tools, and producing training documentations.
- Using Bentley products, including ProjectWise and/or AutoDESK products in a production environment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving common issues within DGN and/or DWG format files.
- Configuring and maintaining client workspaces for the production teams.
- Digital review processes using Bluebeam and Adobe Professional.
- Conducting trainings to customers.Â
