DoD Skillbridge - Mission Operations Analyst

York Space Systems is seeking a Mission Operations Analyst to support various mission planning and execution activities.Â
Through DoD SkillBridge, York Space Systems provides internships to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These internships include up to six months of on-the-job training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.
RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Execute trending and monitoring of telemetry data
- Develop trending tools and methods
- Identify, create, or utilize available tools to model and analyze a given systems performance and capability in relation to mission objectives
- Perform on-console tasks supporting real-time operations and anomaly investigations for multiple missions
- Support mission operations team during planning and execution phases
- Participate in table-top exercises and mission rehearsals to ensure operational readiness
- Identify and develop improvements to operational processes and tools
- Maintain logs of operational activities and anomalies
- Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
- Ability to quickly learn operational procedures, new software, and technical subjects
- Certificate in Spacecraft Flight Operations or relevant technical field or 1-2 years of relevant experience desired but not required
- DoD Secret Security ClearanceÂ
- Willing to work off hours
- Clear and concise verbal communication skills
