Job Description: TLM Database Developer

We are looking for Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Oracle database development supporting reconciliations on TLM Premium 2.5 or higher version platform. The candidate, expected to have good knowledge on the various DB object concepts, DB Optimization techniques, Query plan execution, Troubleshooting for various types of the reconciliation controls (Nostros, Depos, Inter Accounts, Intersystem, FOBO, FOCL) for the various Capital Markets asset classes, which will be required to understand business and build recs for the same.

Candidate must have ?
Reconciliation Database experience using TLM Premium 2.5 or higher.
Strong Oracle database development skill. Hands on experience on the Unix Shell scripting commands

Production Support experience is good to have.
UNIX Solaris, Linux Shell scripting (bash/Vi Editors / PowerShell)

What you will do:

• The candidate, expected to perform comprehensive Database PL SQL development on the Oracle database, testing (UNIT / SIT / UAT) during the implementation of the reconciliations on the Recs platform TLM Premium 2.5 or Higher into production environment.
• Expertise in Smart stream TLM tool with hands on experience On TLM premium 2.5 or higher version.
• Should have detailed hands-on experience With TLM TOOLS as SMART STUDIO/ Smart Schema/ Recon Admin/ web Connect/ Control &CT tools.
• Expertise in Oracle (Specially TLM tables knowledge)/ good hands on write SQL stored procedure.
• TLM database table linkages, for analyzing production issue from the backend.
• Expertise in Unix shell scripting should be well versed with the most frequently used UNIX commands and the Vi Editor.
• Well versed in TLM services/ usage & logs validation for debugging oracle TLM in memory queries
• Develop stored procedures, triggers and functions for recs and end-user reports using Oracle database.
• Must have knowledge of Oracle Database Troubleshooting, using profiler, database backup procedures.
• Should have environmental knowledge like troubleshooting Database issues, understanding DB logs and DB Objects services knowledge, Query Optimization, DB maintenance.
• Should have exposure to Agile and DevOps culture.
• Very good communication skills to convey clear details to end users/ clients for any challenges faced during build or testing.
• Knowledge of automated Database deployment tools will be an added advantage.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Advance knowledge working with TLM TOOLS as SMART STUDIO/ Smart Schema/ Recon Admin/ web Connect/ Control &CT tools.
• Solid SQL experience on Oracle Database and its performance optimization
• Understand complex DB objects ? stored procedures, database views, triggers, and database structure.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries ? joins, updates, scripts for analysis etc.
• Experience in automating and analyzing the Query plans and proposing better DB architecture for the TLM
• Re-engineering the business processes and building short relationships with business and operations.
• Good understanding of Capital Markets, Trade Lifecyle of the various Asset classes, which assist in building better reconciliation controls database queries on the TLM Premium recs platform.

What additional skills will be good to have?

• Knowledge of No SQL database and Azure cloud DB Services
• Exposure to any Reporting/Analytics tool like BIRT, Crystal/SAP BO/Qliksense/Qlikview etc.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles & tools like GitHub/Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
• Any programming language experience Python, JAVA.
• Scripting knowledge on the VB, Perl, PowerShell
