Domestic Operations Specialist

KCH Transportation, a growing logistics and supply chain company, is seeking an experienced Domestic Operations Specialist to join their team. This position will play a crucial role in the successful movement of freight, ensuring safe, reliable transportation services that fulfill virtually every freight need. With over 7 locations nationwide, KCH is committed to providing exceptional service to their customers and expanding their reach. As a Domestic Operations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experts in logistics and supply chain, establish strong relationships with carriers, and implement processes to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute domestic shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining communication with carriers and customers
• Manage large accounts and be the key point of contact for customers
• Monitor and track freight movement, providing regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement processes that increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Work with customers to understand their unique freight needs and recommend customized solutions
• Manage the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing

• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements

SALARY: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year USD
