This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Donor Information Associate 3. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing donor medical records and ensuring compliance with medical data accuracy and confidentiality. Your expertise will aid in the analysis and organization of vital medical information, positively impacting donor eligibility and record management processes. As a key team member, you will support educational initiatives within the department while collaborating with external partners to enhance data quality and efficiency. You'll help drive best practices in medical record management, contributing to improved donor services and overall mission success. This remote position allows for flexibility while maintaining essential operational functions.

Accountabilities

  • Makes recommendations for maximizing quality and cost efficiency in services as a subject matter expert.
  • Utilizes medical knowledge to determine donor eligibility.
  • Works with external partners to secure complete and accurate medical chart information.
  • Analyzes and organizes medical information systems consisting of detailed paper and electronic records.
  • Manages donor medical records and databases for statistical reporting.
  • Performs quality reviews of departmental work and assists in training other associates.
  • Completes training as coordinator, first review, second review, and other roles as needed.
  • Ensures donor medical records are accurate, complete, and confidential.
  • Locates, prints, scans, and organizes medical charts with high accuracy.
  • Verifies information within medical charts and assists with record archiving.
  • Maintains departmental inbox and supports workflow.
  • Mentors less-experienced team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 6 or more years of chart reviewing experience.
  • 5 years of industry experience preferred.
  • CTBS certification preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with digital chart software.
  • Skilled in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
