Driver (Spanish Bilingual Preferred)

SUMMARY Unica Party Rentals Inc. is looking for highly motivated and experienced Drivers to ensure successful delivery and pickup of our rental products and services via commercial vans and box trucks of various sizes. Playing a crucial role in our client's event execution, the Driver is instrumental with, not only driving and transportation but also, loading and unloading and setting up and breaking down equipment. This role owns the success and safety of our product and fleet in addition to adhering to traffic laws and company process and protocol. We're seeking highly motivated and experienced drivers to join our team , a background in event rental equipment a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES The Dispatch Driver will primarily be responsible for the following: • Safely drive company trucks (up to 24’ box trucks) long-distance (~up to 60 Miles radius) while obeying all traffic laws and safety protocol • Set up the rental equipment at the client’s desired destination • Interact with clients and the public in a professional manner • Provide exceptional service by setting up, removing, and loading the rental equipment • Practice extreme care when around customer and company property • Communicate and coordinate with the dispatchers and team leaders • Secure cargo and properly arrange and balance products within the vehicle • Ensure any mechanical issues with the vehicle are reported and corrected before driving • Meet delivery and pickup timelines in a timely manner • Comply with all local traffic and company driving rules and regulations • Transport products between client locations as required. • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections using fleet management software, ensuring compliance and safety. REQUIREMENTS • Have a valid driver’s license + Clean driving record (Commercial Driver's License not required) • Experience driving a truck to transport products is a plus • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients • Flexibility to work nights and weekends based on business needs • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and behavior Physical Demands and Work Environment • Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and tying down equipment • Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.
