Drug Screen Technician

• Acquire basic knowledge of regulated and non regulated drug testing procedures.
• Become certified as a Drug Test and Breath Alcohol Technician (training provided by NowCare).
• Checking patients in at front desk and verifying requested services from company.
• Entering patient demographic information in computer.
• Obtain and prepare testing forms as needed.
• Perform drug and alcohol tests on patients per company protocol.
• Log and prepare specimens for shipment to laboratory.
• Scanning documents and entering required information into computer.
• Organize and file completed paperwork in file cabinets.
• Restocking collection supplies in testing rooms as needed.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work space at all times.
• Be available to work weekdays until 8pm on a rotating schedule.
• Be available to begin work weekdays at 7:45 am on a rotating schedule.
• Be available to work Saturday and Sundays on a rotation schedule.
• Become trained, proficient, and credentialed to be available to respond to after hours pager for emergency test collections.
• Provide onsite collections at client locations.
• Must have the ability to work as a team with coworkers and providers.
