Summary/objective:

The Dry Bar Comedy Assistant will primarily be responsible for creating and entering comprehensive metadata, including text descriptions and images, for our diverse range of comedy specials into our cataloging system. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, proficiency in image editing, and a flair for creative writing. Excellent English language skills are crucial for crafting engaging and accurate descriptions. Essential Functions

• Create and enter descriptions into a cataloging system.
• Edit and upload images to our cataloging system.
• Edit images and ensure they are displayed correctly
• Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Adobe Creative.

Required education and experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred education and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Photography or graphic design experience

Work environment - When in the main office, expect a comfortable, air-conditioned work environment. Team members are issued their own desks, but the office is an open, shared space and can be fast-paced and occasionally noisy.

Physical demands - Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of time. 

Position type and expected hours of work - Regular full-time, 40 hours per week.

Travel required - No travel is required for this position

Work authorization - Must be authorized to work in the United States.
