Drywall Hanger and Finisher

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Hanger/Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing drywall in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties • Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. • Measure and cut drywall to fit around windows, doors, and electrical outlets. • Apply tape and joint compound to seams, preparing surfaces for finishing. • Conduct repairs on existing drywall, including patching holes and smoothing surfaces. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. • Assist in mold remediation efforts when necessary, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Skills • Proficient in drywall installation techniques and finishing methods. • Strong maintenance person skills, including water damage restoration capabilities. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow project specifications accurately. • Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
