Summary
Provide strategic leadership to the ducted systems product management organization by developing product management best practices and supporting strategic roadmap development. Develop best practices ensuring that voice of customer is built into NPI projects. Coach product managers across the Residential and Commercial business units in developing a strategic roadmap for Ducted Systems Equipment and Controls. Coach and transform the business into a best-in-class product management organization that is customer value focused.
How You Will Do It:
- Work with Product Managers to develop a portfolio of strategic initiatives and projects that deliver desired growth, transformation, capability development, and value creation.
- Guide and support product managers on developing business cases that are feasible and aligned with business strategy and expectations.
- Instill best practices across the product management organization that focus on best-in-class product development skillsets.
- Develop NPI trainings and templates that enhance product management skillsets focusing on customer needs and value creation.
- Conduct periodic strategic reviews with the Product Management Team to evaluate current market and competitive intelligence to identify strategic adjustments and enhancements to the corporate strategy.
- Synthesize findings, insights, and recommendations in a compelling manner to allow for the appropriate strategic dialogue and discussion to occur amongst senior stakeholders.
What We Look For:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of business experience leading NPI programs and strategy development.
- Work experience in product management, with a focus on strategy, controls and business transformation.
- Experience conducting Voice of Customer and translating customer needs to functional requirements.
- Bachelor's degree is required, MBA is highly desirable.
- Experience in Business Administration, Engineering, Strategy and/or Finance.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skill to C Suite Executives Ability to communicate effectively in a technical environment, including in front of C-level and VP-level stakeholders.
- Well-rounded business leader with strong capabilities and understanding of commercial, operational, and financial levers of the business.
