Job Description

The Associate, Due Diligence will be accountable for responding to RFP/RFI and due diligence requests from prospective and existing private fund investors. Acting on behalf of PFG, the Analyst / Associate will become a specialist in the firm's corporate level responses as well as its products and strategies. The Associate will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with multiple teams and departments, interacting with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented, have a strong ability to problem solve / multi-task and be a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate across multiple groups within the firm to manage investor requests and due diligence questionnaires, meeting established deadlines.
  • Collaborate across organization to gather relevant due diligence information in order to respond to customized questions and requests.
  • Write and create responses to client inquiries providing a high quality and accurate responses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and efficiencies
  • Maintain up-to-date standardized databases of responses in Loopio
  • Act as a product specialist on assigned strategies and work closely with investment teams to master all aspects of the products' features

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in RFP/RFI, due diligence, client service or investor relations
  • Experience working in asset management; knowledge of alternative investments preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with clear ability to effectively coordinate with a wide variety of professionals at all levels and departments within and outside of the organization
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a fast paced, global environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude who demonstrates a commitment to shared success
  • Demonstrates exceptional work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle pressure effectively to successfully manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of work product and adhering to stringent deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce, Loopio or similar tools
  • Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
