The primary function of the Dutch-speaking Compliance Officer is to ensure compliance with the Dutch regulations. The role covers the continuous monitoring compliance, reporting to the regulator, internal reporting, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued compliance. The chosen candidate will also be investigating escalated complaints and should be able to advise on different areas of the business, including but not limited to advertising.
Location: Remote in Europe
Responsibilities:
- Keeping up with new regulatory requirements and following up internally on their implementation
- Providing assistance when dealing with customers’ complaints raised internally
- Investigating and drafting formal replies to third-party dispute resolution bodies
- Reviewing procedures and ensure that they are up to date; propose and drive changes thereof where necessary
- Drafting policies
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Preparing reports for management
- Collecting data for reports required by relevant authorities
- Reviewing and preparing terms and conditions;
- Preparing and delivering employee training on different regulatory issues and the Company’s policies and procedures;
- Participating in general company administration;
- Assisting the head of compliance with the compilation of data and with recommendations for improvement to maintain compliance
About You:
- 2+ years of previous experience working in online gambling, ideally with experience in compliance
- Dutch native speaker or equivalent fluency is a must
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in both Dutch and English.
- Great time-management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective analytical skills which enable the chosen candidate to profile risks, benefits and impacts on the business and on the licences.
