Dynamics AX - Solution Architect

This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.

Job Location: Remote

18-month contract

Pay rate: ($10,000 - $12,000+/month)

Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Work with team members to ensure alignment of the ERP system with business processes.
• Customize ERP software to fulfill company requirements.
• Identify system problems and troubleshoot solutions.
• Update system, applications, and functionalities as needed.
• Train employees on the use of ERP tools and systems or Delivering and/or authoring technical training.
• Create and maintain system documentation and ERP process instructions.
• Conduct regular system audits and testing to ensure optimal functionality.
• Proven experience as an Dynamics AX engineer, architect, or similar role.
• Extensive experience with on-premises implementations and managing ERP software and third-party interfaces.
• Strong understanding of performance tuning methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with key stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred.
• Previous Consulting and/or customer-facing role.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Enterprise level support and administration focused specifically with:
• AX performance and tuning optimization, Dynamics AX +Migration, on-premise and cloud and Power Apps.
• Expertise with all versions of Dynamics AX/F&O.
• Solving performance problems, query tuning, and optimization.
• Architectural experience for Dynamics AX.
• Delivering and/or authoring technical training.
• Knowledge of ERP software beyond Microsoft Dynamics AX (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience with system installation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of business operations and processes.
• Experience training users on ERP systems.
• Performance Optimization and Tuning Capabilities.
• Backup and recovery.
• Ensuring High availability and Disaster recovery.
• Procedural and troubleshooting skills.
• Upgrade process.
• Dynamics AX administration, best practices, and health checks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in MECM/Intune and related technologies.
