Brady offers a hybrid work option that allows for both personal flexibility and in person collaboration to deliver the greatest outcomes for our people and customers. This option is a mix of in the Milwaukee officeand one or two offsite days which are pre-determined based on role and function.
What We Need:
Brady is looking for an Ecommerce architect to join our software development organization, using modern development practices and the latest technology stack. Bring your engineering strengths and passion, to help Brady create industry leading ecommerce solutions that meet the online shopping needs of our global customers. The core purpose of this position is to architect, design, develop and enhance Brady's global ecommerce platforms. If you love to solve complex problems, working with new development frameworks/cloud-based technologies and pushing the envelope on existing technologies, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and review web/ecommerce application architecture involving custom development and integration of third party solutions
- Review, maintain and develop optimal application security capabilities
- Establish and enhance cloud governance practices
- Evaluate, recommend and guide implementation of off the shelf solutions as appropriate
- Analyze monitoring and system performance data and provide improvement recommendations to product and system owners
- Provide architecture and technical leadership guidance to multiple global web development teams
- Articulate solutions with clear value propositions
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, is self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail oriented.
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of experience architecting/developing web ecommerce solutions
- Experience implementing solutions on the cloud (Azure, AWS, or Google)
- Experience implementing Web Services/Micro Services
- Experience with version control continuous integration systems (e.g. Azure DevOps,, TFS, Git)
- Experience providing technical leadership for other developers
Desired:
- Experience developing for the Microsoft .NET stack, PHP
- Experience with Content Management/Ecommerce platforms like Sitecore Magento, Product Info Management (PIM) systems like STEP
- Experience with cloud/web Security
