E-Commerce Associate FT (South OPS)

SCOPE:

Assist in facilitation of the processing of merchandise through Gulfstream Goodwill Industries’ ShopGoodwill E-Commerce and E-Books departments, while portraying a positive image for Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Inc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Process and sort donated inventory for sale on Ecommerce sites (eBay, Amazon, Shopgoodwill) and through Boutique retail stores.
• Sort and inventory electronics, computers, cameras, collectibles, wares, art, jewelry, and antiques for sale on both Ecommerce platforms and in donated goods retail store outlets.
• Sort donations for sale online based on average item value, KPIs such as sell-through, average item price, and shipping weight.
• Utilize computer and internet databases (Google, Shopgoodwill reports, eBay, Amazon) to determine average sale price for items, as well as the appropriate market for each donation.
• Sort donations to Ecommerce and retail stores based on highest revenue returns per item.
• Take detailed photographs of and list items for sale on various Ecommerce platforms, using detailed copy principles and description requirements.
• Edit, crop, resize, and adjust item photographs using photo editing software.
• Utilize keywords and detailed descriptions to increase price and sell-through of donations listed for sale on Ecommerce platforms.
• Meet listing and production quotas throughout the day to achieve daily goals and metrics.
• Label and sort listed items into proper inventory space, and pull sold items for shipment.
• Pull reports of sold items and retrieve items in preparation for shipping which includes generating packing slips.
• Assist in responding to customer emails, phone inquiries, customer pick-ups and shipping service.
• Work with boutique room and eBooks sections as needed.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and address issues/complaints in a timely manner.
• Maintain daily and weekly inventory management systems, pulling and packing unsold items for shipment to stores while maintaining Kaizen principles to ensure maximum use of space and efficiencies at every station.
• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of department cleanliness and assist with all opening/closing procedures.
• Work closely with Shopgoodwill supervisor to meet production goals and budgeted revenue; maintain compliance of all Kaizen and Safety audits; attend meetings as requested.
• Sort items that fail to meet department criteria into appropriately labeled bins accordingly.
• Sort, repair, wipe, and/or refurbish used computer equipment for sale on Ecommerce platforms.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules, keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Participate in any variety of meetings and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Experience and education equivalent to High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and understand verbal/written instructions.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM preferred.
• Experience utilizing digital, film, iPHone, and android cameras preferred.
• Ability to edit photos using photo editing software.
• Experience selling online using eBay, Amazon, Shopify, etc. preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to respond customer service inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to handle and move large amounts of material around worksite
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
• Repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling, stooping, standing and bending

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:

Computer and peripherals, cameras, iPhone and Android, photo-editing software, word processing, spreadsheets and software programs, safety equipment, postage scales, packing tape and materials, and a variety of standard office equipment.

Pay Rate: $11.00/hour
