E-Commerce Lead – South Asia
Job Description
Primary Position Objective
Responsible to drive revenue in the Direct-to-Consumer channel by developing, implementing & optimizing Digital & E-com strategies via Digital Marketing channels & managing overall website sales process. This individual will own and execute the product assortment strategy needed to drive & maximize sales, customer acquisition, and retention. Should be well-versed with digital ad platforms, E-com platforms & marketplaces & build process efficiencies through effective data analysis, to move customers through sales funnel.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Drive E-com sales and overall P&L for the business in alignment with business objectives by focusing on driving qualified traffic to the website and optimize the customer journey to continuously improve online conversion rates.
- Own and manage E-com marketing budget and ensure ROI performance.
- Oversee business reporting; measure key metrics and KPIs to drive overall visibility into trends and areas of opportunity.
- Responsible for regular reporting on sales & customer experience metrics β optimizing website performance & site operations, identifying opportunities & suggesting strategies to achieve sales growth.
- Strategically plan product collections, pages, content updates, and featured shops based on inventory needs and marketing priorities.
- Responsible for website optimizations from navigation, collections, search & homepage perspective to maximize conversions & sales.
- Plan & execute offers as per marketing calendar to drive sales.
- Interpret & analyze lead conversions & performance data to create actionable points to optimize conversions of consumer business.
- Assist marketing teams in coming up with creative ways to tailor certain digital campaigns to drive sales.
- Set and deliver clear OKRs and roadmaps that align to the delivery of the strategy, including impacts to customer and key eCommerce drivers.

Qualifications and Experience
- MBA from First Class B school OR degree in business, digital marketing, or related field
- 6+ years hands-on experience running &/or managing E-com business.
- Hands-on experience working on E-com platforms like Shopify & Marketplaces like Amazon
- Knowledge of eCommerce best practices, digital marketing trends & web analytics.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing channels (Paid, earned & owned media) such as search, social, display, affiliates, video, apps.
- Experience in analytics platforms such as GA360, Adobe Experience Cloud and so on.
- Experience in healthcare sector and/or consumer sales.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.
