Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees and creates various customer and/or internally focused video-based learning and development programs.
- Maintains subject matter expertise for the product/domain they are assigned to.
- Contributes to the development of online / digital learning programs and/or computer based virtual courses. Applies adult learning principles and effective digital techniques to produce virtual learning.
- Works with stakeholders to gather materials and develop courses.
- May perform any or all of the following:
- Developing digital learning content, such as micro digital learning modules, videos, assessments and simulations.
- Write online Help Articles
- Uploads digital learning content to the LMS in the form of customized learning pathways and individual modules to suit key learner profiles
- Evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs, materials and initiatives,
- Adjusting and adapting programs and material based on user feedback and experience.
- Contributes to the definition, development and implementation of customer self-service programs and material.
- Engages with product and operations colleagues to understand product changes, new product developments and other situations, ensuring changes are incorporated into digital learning programs and material.
- Learns and complies with Bonterra training and digital learning policies and standards.
- Proactively gains understanding of adult learning principles, effective digital delivery methods and how customers use and benefit from Bonterra products and capabilities.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of one or more Bonterra products from a user and administrator perspective.
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in one or more of the industry domains that Bonterra serves.
- Ability to present complex technical information in a clear, relatable manner.
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to learn new systems independently through self-exploration.
This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by CWA Local 1400, 2336 or 13000.
Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.
US base salary range: $42,600 - $76,600
