BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The position of ECMO (Enterprise Change Management Office) Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of organizational change management methodologies, communication, and training for Change Practitioners within MSC. The role will support the MSC Continuous Improvement (CI) and Business Transformation team in delivering change initiatives and solutions that advance the strategies of the company and the overall development of the associates.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizes, motivates, and leads a team of change management program managers on multiple initiatives, consistent with company performance management processes and methodologies.
  • Oversees all programs, initiatives, and projects managed by Enterprise Change Management office.
  • Clearly defines performance metrics and goals for the team to ensure alignment with the company's objectives.
  • Provides regular feedback and coaching to team members to support their professional development.
  • Encourages a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Fosters collaboration and communication within the team and with other departments to ensure smooth execution of change initiatives.
  • Manages targeted learning and development programs and support organization development initiatives.
  • Identifies areas for improvement and reengineering and proactively creates forward looking solutions.
  • Champions a culture of change management to ensure business standards are embraced by staff and business partners. Ensures systems and processes are utilized to the greatest capacity.
  • Partners with Corporate Communications team to manage all communications to key stakeholders and ensures they are aware of significant changes to project status in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates the sharing of information, skills, and knowledge among associates.
  • Provides change leadership and guidance to key stakeholders in support of enterprise strategy.
  • Establishes and maintains working relationships with functional and business leaders.
  • Develops and maintains key project communications documentation to ensure the appropriate amount of structure is applied to enable success.
  • Provides timely updates and elevates critical risks to management and senior executive teams.
  • Performs all duties inherent in the role of MSC Manager as defined by the MSC Code of Conduct including hiring, termination, review, and development of associates.
  • Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose
  • Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of strong experience with organization change management required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leading a team.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related project management and agile training and experience preferred.
  • Budget planning and execution experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative business and technology relationship s.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, making sound business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate for resources and time.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging the support and resources of others to achieve project goals and objectives with ability to influence other's actions and decisions without express authority.
  • Ability to think both tactically and strategically moving through both fluidly.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and qualities.
  • Ability to research, interpret and incorporate industry and other best practices into change management processes.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time are required.
