eCOA Solution Design Analyst

YPrime’s eCOA Project Delivery team is searching for a Solution Design Analyst to help design and customize innovative software that fuels clinical trials. You’ll be based remotely or in our Malvern, PA or Raleigh, NC office. At YPrime, we help our clients in the pharma and biotech industries to collect data from patients using mobile devices, assign patients to study treatment groups and dispense clinical trial drugs and supplies using web apps. We’re supporting life-altering research, one project at a time.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Foundational knowledge of SDLC Principals
• Minimum 2+ years of technical management experience
• Experience with software systems in support of clinical trials
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for working in a customer-facing role
• Time management and organizational skills
• Exceptional focus on detail
• Analytical reasoning and creative problem-solving skills

• Database querying experience preferred (SQL Server)
• Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical or the CRO industry is a plus
• Experience with Scrum Software Development is a plus
• Experience with SaaS delivery is a plus
• Experience with IRT or eCOA is a plus

Here are some more details about the job:

• You’ll ensure all requirements for a system build are identified, documented, and communicated across the project team
• You’ll be responsible for the technical design of a study based on protocol, client requests, and experience
• You’ll translate functional requirements into technical specifications for programmers
• You’ll review and support the configuration of systems
• You’ll understand the capabilities of our base product to ensure custom code is not created inadvertently
• You’ll ensure all functional requirements are captured in Systems Requirements Documents (SRD) and Data Transfer Specifications (DTS)
• You’ll lead a team in ad-hoc testing of requirements in a development environment
• You’ll ensure delivery of a clean study through a validation environment
• You’ll objectively review and approve system documentations and specifications as required
• You’ll ensure documentation completeness and compliance of all Y-Prime SOPs and WIs
• You’ll group functionalities and requirements that are similar together, and approach designs holistically
• You’ll provide support to system users in multiple countries via phone and email
• You’ll assist in mentoring other design architects and configuration specialists
• You’ll perform other related duties as required
