The role:

The Ecommerce Analyst is a critical role within the Business Intelligence & Analytics team, reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence.  This role will provide business recommendations based on insights from analyses and dashboards to enable & drive data-driven decisions with our e-commerce & product stakeholders. The role is responsible for developing & producing ongoing and ad-hoc analyses to track customer behavioral-based KPIs and metrics.   

The ideal candidate must be a motivated, thought leader, detail-oriented, and focused on enabling business success through data. They will work towards evolving how we leverage, report on, and share customer behavioral information by driving success and improving decision-making through data.

What you'll do:

• Track & generate insights from site trends and customer behavior and new feature/functionality launches, site design based on clickstream data
• Monitor & report on campaign metrics such as traffic to key departments and categories; customer segmentation; visitor analysis and usage of key site features.
• Lead analysis & provide insights into customer interaction with digital product & e-commerce efforts
• Provide frequent recommendations on how to maximize revenue via product positioning and design elements
• Partner cross-functionally with technology &  business teams to ensure proper tagging & tracking are deployed for initiatives
• Participate in the development & implementation of new feature & functionality development
• Partner with department leads and senior management to optimize business efforts and operational resources to achieve maximum profitability, as well as support company initiatives to grow the business.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, MBA preferred
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in data analytics
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, SQL, SAS, R, Python, Google Analytics/click-stream tools a plus
• Excellent math and problem-solving skills
• Very strong verbal & written communication skills, ability to turn technically complex ideas into a narrative
• Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, with solid attention to detail
• Tech-savvy and able to work, communicate, and convey ideas both in-person and virtually
•  Excellent time management and organizational skills with a task-focused approach
•  Self-motivation and the ability to drive collaboration among stakeholders to achieve an outcome
•  Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture

Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experience and qualifications for the role. Base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include short & long term incentive compensation. In addition, employees are eligible for our standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and 401K match.
