eCommerce Analytics Manager

The Digital Analytics Manager will be responsible for measuring, analyzing, and generating insights & recommendations to improve the digital experience and performance of the M&M'S Global Digital business. This person will also be responsible for managing, organizing, and presenting online analytics data, including establishing key metrics and developing reporting dashboards. The Digital Analytics Manager is a key member of the M&M'S Global Digital Team and will work closely with the Digital Product Owner as well as the regional ecommerce and brand teams to deeply engage current audiences, attract & convert new consumers, and support mms.com via paid, owned, and earned media.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in an analytics role providing insights and reporting to an ecommerce and/or digital marketing team in a consumer/branded goods retail environment.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing and can manage and report on digital brand campaigns
  • Experience reporting on traditional digital performance marketing activities (paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, email marketing, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of tag management tools (e.g., GTM, Tealium) and server-side tagging a plus
  • Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing techniques and measurements
  • Reporting tools (Google Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics 360/GA4

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Create, maintain, and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports that shape the day-to-day business and drive the long-term growth of our digital marketing initiatives.
  • Perform in-depth analysis into key online metrics and trends uncovered in reports. Mine qualitative research data and customer satisfaction/survey data. Tell the "story" behind the numbers and transform data into insights and actionable business intelligence.
  • Own NPS and strategy to capture customer feedback on and off site.
  • Responsible for managing web analytics tool.
  • Participate in strategic marketing planning to define analytics business goals/KPIs that are tracked and forecasted.
  • Build and manage campaign-specific dashboards and reporting
  • Track and measure customer journey and touchpoints -acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation - report on KPI goals and advise on performance improvement. Key metrics include Conversion Rate, Add-To-Cart, Bounce Rate, Checkout Funnel Rate, Core Web Vitals, and Site Speed Performance.
  • Use analytics and partner with the Digital Product Owner to advise on site enhancements and roadmap initiatives. Evaluate industry, competitors, market, and technology trends as inputs into the roadmap.
