eCommerce Business Analyst - Remote

Neogen Corporation is seeking an eCommerce Business Analyst, a highly technical and IT accomplished professional who has a talent and a love for eCommerce design. This role can be performed remotely within your home location anywhere in the US working in the Eastern time zone.

The eCommerce Business Analyst is a key point of contact in the functional design of our eCommerce system and will be involved in the strategic roadmap of our eCommerce development. This role will coordinate efforts to define, design, and implement eCommerce solutions for Neogen.

The eCommerce Business Analyst will report to the eCommerce Manager, under the Commercial Excellence Enterprise Digital & eCommerce team. The daily operations of this role will exercise time management, communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of the existing business processes and systems, and cross-department interactions related to eCommerce
• Develop knowledge of our eCommerce ecosystem data model and ensure data is accurately represented in other business systems and analytic tools
• Facilitate gathering business requirements with stakeholders and customers once a project is defined
• Responsible for translating business requirements into written functional requirements, user experience maps and wireframes in line with Neogen's standards and industry best practices
• Act as the primary point of contact for the development team to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and make recommendations as needed where business impacts arise
• Help establish test plans and perform comprehensive user acceptance testing to validate development work has met the functional requirements of the project
• Lead activities required for a project to go-live, including communicating release notes and training appropriate stakeholders prior to go-live
• Work collaboratively with teams to improve eCommerce reporting and leverage the data for growth strategies

Minimal Requirements:

• High school diploma
• 5+ years' experience as a business analyst, product owner, or system analyst within a IT or technical field
• Proven experience writing functional specifications
• Proven experience with user acceptance testing
• Experience with agile development processes
• Experience working with internal and/or external customers on gathering requirements
• Experience building wireframes using PPT, etc.
• Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship skills with people at all organizational levels and third-party partners
• Working knowledge of data modeling principles, mapping, analytics and collecting data from multiple data systems
• Is highly detailed and loves learning
• Has a passion for eCommerce and managing complexity
• Self-starter who works both independently and collaboratively
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems
• Experience with CMS or eCommerce platforms, Optimizely/Episerver preferred
• Knowledge with HTML & CSS, Adobe XD
• Google Analytics experience
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools
• Project management skills
• Experience using analytics to contribute to growth efforts or other key business initiatives
