The Headlines:

In the role of eCommerce Category Management Analyst working in Chicago, IL, you will be part of the eCommerce team. This person will help design category solutions in collaboration with B2C and B2B teams to advance the eCommerce business.

This position reports to the Chain Sales Manager and works closely with both the B2B and B2C eCommerce teams to support customer and distributor priorities.

The Responsibilities:

  • Data projects supporting B2B and B2C business priorities
  • Provide critical insights and analytical support to drive the customer's beer category & capture a disproportionate share of growth
  • Provide understanding of category, channel, and shopper insights to teams through syndicated & internal data
  • Identification of opportunities based on category trends that align with customer and MCBC strategies
  • Development of tools, scorecards, and analytical processes to help internal teams understand business performance and trends
  • General performance reporting - to track, measure, and communicate results

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or other relevant field OR equivalent (2+ years) progressive experience
  • You have experience analyzing sales data (preferably eCommerce sales data). You are proficient in syndicated data, are highly proficient in analysis and data visualization tools (including Excel)
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are serious about results and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
