Ecommerce Email Marketing Manager
The Ecommerce Email Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for setting up marketing campaigns in the multi-channel marketing platform and designing, testing and tracking the performance of the email channel. Direct responsibilities include multi-channel campaign journey set up, email design (using templates or custom), A/B testing, email reporting, managing email sends, and performing regular maintenance of email lists and segmentations. This individual will primarily support B2C channels for one or more brands under the Galls umbrella. In addition to these responsibilities, this role requires a high level of attention to detail and coordination with various internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop best-in-class email templates that impact the performance of the email channel
- QA/QC all work ensuring viability across all inbox providers
- Work with designers on creatives to maximize performance, process through compliance, and launch Continuous A/B Testing, optimizing for response rates and bottom-of-funnel conversion
- Develop HTML and campaigns for other direct marketing channels, including but not limited to SMS and direct mailJourney and campaign set up and execution
- Maintain a campaign calendar to track both production schedule workload, as well as govern campaign frequency
- Standardize, cleanse, and own customer segments for marketing campaigns
- Create and set up multi-channel campaign journeys in the approved marketing platform based on the approved campaign plans.
- Execute approved campaign journeys and make required performance amendments based on direction from the leadership team
- Testing, monitoring, and reporting
- Generate reporting related to email sends and audience lists. Work with the team to develop insights to optimize and Analyze campaign results. This reporting with be used to present findings to marketing and executive leadership teams by yourself and/or your team leadership
- Monitor and optimize deliverability
- Develop A/B tests for subject lines, templates, images, CTAs, and email journeys (ie, subject lines, send times, etc.)
- Work with content resources to develop content for new and existing email layouts
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 1-3 years marketing experience in a professional setting
- Goal Oriented: Ability to focus on a goal and meet pre-determined results or deadlines
- Relationship Building: Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers
- Enthusiastic: Ability to bring energy to the team, project, or task
- Creative: Ability to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
- A working knowledge of HTML/CSS preferred
- A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite preferred
- A data-driven, analytical approach to problem solving, turning insights into actions
- Experience working with an email service providers (ESP) / multi-channel marketing platforms
