eCommerce Manager - Amazon
Job Description
Job Summary (General Responsibilities):
Member of the eCommerce sales team charged with managing and growing online sales channels, specifically on Amazon.com.
The eCommerce Manager will work closely with the eCommerce National Account Manager and other cross functional teams to exceed revenue and profit goals within the channel. The successful candidate will have a firm grasp and understanding of Amazon site merchandising activities and optimization tactics. Additionally, candidate must have a working knowledge of Amazon.com and Vendor Central.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Account management of eCommerce partners.
- Constant site maintenance, management and change tactics to impact conversion rates.
- Constant focus on reviews and relevancy on Amazon.com.
- Full online ownership of how our product is presented, marketed and perceived.
- Manage the day-to-day operations including product content, inventory availability, pricing and promotional activities in order to optimize conversion and revenue.
- Work towards meeting revenue budget targets, with a strong ability to manage the P&L.
- Develop integrated demand generation campaigns to drive sales and increase awareness for Belkin products
- Partner with Interactive Marketing team to drive search engine optimization, search engine marketing, online advertising, digital media, email marketing, website(s) and interactive campaigns to drive consumer and merchant acquisition, retention and loyalty.
- Provide input to cross-functional teams who will create and execute content, manage search/keywords, social media marketing, banner ads, merchant product mock-ups, email campaigns, videos, collateral, branding, and campaign development.
- Supply Chain Management and understanding of how to read and manage Amazon.com operational performance.
- Interface with internal sales, marketing, demand planning, finance, IT and warehouse staff to manage day-to-day business.
- Work closely with the Inventory Planning Team to provide an ongoing forecast for inventory demand.
- Ensure all sales and marketing initiatives drive top line revenue, optimize return-on-investment and achieve other key performance indicators.
- Develop and manage promotional calendar with emphasis on Amazon key drive times.
- Develop and manage online financial, operating and reporting analytics to track and predict performance.
- Learn and remain proficient on the Belkin product lines.
- Conduct self in a professional and courteous manner.
- Take full responsibility for individual actions.
- Comply with Health and Safety requirements of Belkin.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years of successful business development and account management with experience in a channel sales-based organization with extensive retail and eCommerce exposure.
- 2+ years working with Amazon.com.
- 2+ years' experience with a consumer goods supplier selling through Vendor Central and/or Seller Central.
- Strong knowledge of Internet technology and Internet marketing principles.
- Interested in "Discoverability" eCommerce tactics.
- Computer savvy, proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience using website content management systems, analytics solutions, and customer resource management systems (Salesforce.com, in particular).
- Proven successful track record in managing website keyword optimization and marketing, affiliate partnerships, merchandising, email marketing, digital media and online marketing campaigns to elicit conversion.
- History of strong external relationships with partners and vendors.
- Must be a team player who prioritizes the team and overall business objectives.
- Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills (able to create and deliver presentations to senior management).
- Proactive, well organized self-starter with strong project management skills.

Range for this position:
$65,000 - $80,000
Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, compensation also includes a performance-based bonus, and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
