The Role:
This person will be reporting into the Senior Manager, eCommerce to work on the direct device business.
The Person:
You will be responsible for:
- Developing ongoing sales and site performance analyses and providing ongoing reporting and insights to be leveraged cross-functionally
- Using Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, Tableau, and other measurement tools to report weekly on performance metrics.
- Working with the Senior Manager, eCommerce to identify areas to increase site and sales performance and make recommendations based on data
- Working with the Shopify Developer to manage and make updates to the eReader storefronts within Shopify, including within the Shopify Interface and Apps
- Assist with merchandising the website, including product listing pages and accessories
- Manage the eReader bulk purchase program with support from Senior Manager, eCommerce
- Working with other teams within Marketing (CRM, Brand, SEO, Performance) to brainstorm and execute marketing campaigns driving eReader and accessory sales
- Working collaboratively with teams across Kobo including Product, Supply Chain and Customer Care to maintain a top-tier eCommerce experience for customers
- Stay up to date on trends and developments within the eCommerce space
The Skillset:
Required:
- 2-3 years in a marketing role with a focus on eCommerce or website management
- Experience in website management (i.e. Wordpress, Shopify, etc.)
- Comprehensive understanding of digital advertising and the eCommerce customer journey.
- Proficient knowledge of online measurement and performance indicators, ability to analyze campaign data and discern insights.
- Experience working with creative teams to guide and create visual and copy assets.
- Experience working with partners, clients, and cross-functional teams.
Nice to Haves:
- Google Analytics certifications.
- International marketing efforts are an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, client-service, or account management experience is an asset.
- Project management and organization skills are an asset
- Foreign language skills (French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, etc.) or localization experience an asset.
