eCommerce Operations Analyst
The eCommerce Operations Analyst role sits on the eCommerce team within our Digital Transformation Department. This position is responsible for understanding and optimizing the end-to-end workflow from both an internal standpoint, as well as through the client experience (external). They should have a good understanding of our website's capabilities, functionality, and integration points to other systems. This role will be focused on identifying areas for improvement and optimizations, and working with internal stakeholders to implement those improvements to help enhance the overall client experience. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate is a team player, a problem solver, willing to challenge the status quo, and always looking for ways to improve the client experience.
The eCommerce Operations Analyst is responsible for the following main areas of eCommerce:
- Understand and optimize the complete end-to-end workflow for both insight.com and B2B orders
- Oversee the process for client-facing and sales-facing communications related to web updates, outages, and enhancements. This includes partnering with marketing, communications, and strategy teams.
- Understand the features/functions of Insight's eCommerce solutions in order to troubleshoot challenges, make recommendations, and setup/update customized solutions.
- Work within a team environment to understand ongoing challenges and identify patterns and system improvements needed to enhance solutions.

- Self-starter who is motivated to learn, grow and expand knowledge in system integrations
- Provide clear and professional communication to clients and sales teammates
- The ability to seek and document issues and identify opportunities for optimization when troubleshooting system solutions
- Lead discussions specific to e-commerce capabilities, benefits and solutions
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a business or technical discipline. MBA or MS a strong plus. Two years' experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP. Four years in one or multiple functional business area(s), business analysis, requirements definition, project management, problem solving in a distribution/light manufacturing environment, preferably with an electronics reseller.
- Strong and professional writing and communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business requirements, technical procedures and system to system process flows/integrations
- Ability to write reports and/or business requirements
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and other employees
- Strong understanding of technology industry, customer base and key industry triggers for scale, demand gen and customer engagement.
- Excellent time-management and organization skills, with attention to detail
