We are currently seeking an eCommerce Paid Media Strategist to join our Marketing team. At Groove Commerce, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day management of multiple paid media marketing campaigns. This position will work with the various stakeholders and team members to execute paid search, display, shopping, and paid social advertising strategies across clients. You’ll be expected to improve paid media channels to support growth goals both independently and in larger, multi-channel strategies.

An experienced and creative Paid Media Strategist with a track record of developing and implementing strong and successful campaigns. You’re highly motivated, resourceful, and organized with a high attention to detail, and quickly pick up new concepts while maintaining an upbeat and positive relationship with existing clients.
What We Need You to Do:
- Provide support in the utilization of Paid Media channels through campaigns and ongoing marketing to achieve revenue/lead goals
- Develop and deliver leads and growth within accounts
- Determine quantifiable business goals, vertical trends and preferences and find opportunities to create competitive advantage through the optimization of Paid Media campaignsÂ
- Have a focus on audience segmentation, budget, ROAS, and the quality of deliverables
- Formulate campaign strategy, research competitors & potential paid media channels, analyze data, and provide testing ideas
- Create bid strategy and budgeting rules of engagement for Paid Search
- Implement optimizations to make sure client goals are met
- Manage attribution/conversion lead tracking and reporting
- Report on channel performance weekly
- Maintain diligent communication with clients and internal team members (email, phone and face to face)
- Facilitate end-user training with and support clients in their understanding of the paid digital tactics
- Assist in the delivery and creation of campaign ideas, strategies, reports, and analysis in a timely fashion
- Lead the analysis of campaign executions against goals utilizing various tools including the creation and delivery of reporting
- Participate in project evaluations and assessment of projects as a way to improve the Groove product
- Maintain a level of thought leadership through the creation of blogs/content/participation in webinars/presentations
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in paid advertising and digital marketing
- Certified in ads platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot, and others as needed)
- Advanced Paid Search and Social experience (Google, Bing, Meta, Pinterest, X, TikTok)
- Strong understanding of Google Display, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics
- Quantitative ability and an advanced understanding of digital media analytics, i.e. how to set up media analytics infrastructure to track KPIs
- Understanding of past and current digital marketing and technology trends
- Deep knowledge and passion for technology, digital marketing, and innovation
- Presentation capabilities and comfort meeting with clients and team members in person and via Zoom
- Ability to manage time effectively and responsibly to get tasks done in a timely manner
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics, and reporting tools
- Experience in Google Suite
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Additional online marketing experience a plus (SEO, social, email, etc)
**Bonus points if you already have basic knowledge of HTML and are HubSpot Certified!
