eCommerce Project Manager (Remote)
Job Description
The eCommerce project manager will be responsible for the implementation of eCommerce strategies, helping our clients grow their brands and achieve their business goals. You will take complete ownership over the project lifecycle and take large-scale projects to launch. You will work directly with our clients, as well as our design, development, and production team to oversee the successful launch of Shopify Plus websites for fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and luxury brands.
General Duties
- Work directly with Senior Management to scope and manage projects
- Maintain the happiness of your clients
- Collaborate with strategists, designers, developers, and project managers
- Take ownership over discovery and project lifecycle.
- Measure and hit Project KPIs: Ensure that eCommerce projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed our client's expectations.
- Assist with scoping development and design phases.
- Properly plan resources for full-build projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clientele and understand their needs.
- Conduct research and collect data about our clients and their industry.
- Communicate strategy, project scope, and client feedback to designers, producers, contractors, partners, and developers.
- Review deliverables with the internal team and present them to clients.
- Identify when client feedback is out-of-scope and how to proceed.
- Attend client meetings and phone calls to thoroughly understand their needs.
- Request assets from clients or other parties.
- Collaborate with and coordinate with in-house designers, developers, strategists, and freelancers
Requirements
- 2+ years in project management
- Involved in projects from initiation to close, ensuring requirements are met for each stage
- Leading small to large project teams
- 1+ year experience in Shopify
- Client-facing experience
- Managing all financial aspects of the revenue cycle in the project portfolio
- Proven ability to communicate ideas with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Excellent leadership abilities.
- Strong people skills and an ability to listen to the customer and translate their needs into specific actions and solutions
- Proven ability to manage through obstacles and resolve conflict
