eCommerce Sales Analyst - Charlotte, NC

TheBlueprint (Role Profile)

Reporting to the Director, Sales,National Accounts, the eCommerce Sales Analyst is responsiblefor the day-to-day management of one of the fastest growing channels withinATG. The candidate will be responsible for building relationships with bothinternal and external (customer facing) partners in order to grow Apex businessprofitably on the Amazon.com platform. TheAnalyst (ESA) will be responsible for leading the critical financial managementfunction of the business and will have a broad range of responsibilitiesincluding system management, forecasting support, relationship management andcustomer-facing tasks. The preferred candidate will be flexible and eager tolearn as a critical component of a growth-oriented team.

This role will work with the Director to create strategiesand will be responsible for implementing them with customers and managing theforecast and financials with internal partners.

TheBuild (Responsibilities)

  • Developand execute account strategies aligned with internal business plans and goalsfor customer.
  • Driveprofitable sales growth within product portfolio.
  • Build relationships with key customer contacts includingbuyers, demand planners and marketing associates.
  • Provide a high level of service while troubleshooting dayto day issues.
  • Competitive market analysis and intelligence gathering toidentify trends and improvement areas.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams - productmanagement, marketing, customer service, creative and supply chain.
  • Communicate effectively internally andexternally, as necessary to support and grow the business .
  • Conduct weekly/monthly reporting tosupport strategic initiatives.
  • Obtain and maintain excellent productknowledge in order to present entire product line, demonstrating technicalknowledge regarding function and application.
  • Support and drive new productinitiatives within Apex Tool Group brands.
  • Communicate effectively internally andexternally, as necessary to support and develop business.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ATG pricing,and awareness of competitive products and pricing.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business-related field; will consider 3+years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proven track record of accomplishments and achievements inpenetrating complex accounts and driving business growth.
  • High energy, driven, self-starter with a high level ofpersonal accountability.
  • Businessacumen and organizational savvy.
  • Strongpresentation, communication and negotiation skills required.
  • Abilityto work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Mustdisplay strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Collaborativeteam player.
  • Excellentcomputer/systems skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Amazon1P/3P experience a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Abilityto travel (including some overnight) up to 20%.
