Location: Denver, Colorado or Tri-State, New York

Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 + Bonus & Benefits

As an Ecosystem Manager, you will be joining the Ecosystem team at Techstars specifically focused on supporting and leading growth by engaging communities, developing relationships with economic development groups, foundations, and strategic partners to support hundreds of community leaders and event organizers.

The Ecosystem Team:

Techstars has worked with thousands of entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world. The Ecosystem team at Techstars focuses on delivering programs for early-stage entrepreneurs through community events, pre accelerators and immersive training programs. Techstars’ Startup Community Catalyst empowers communities to grow and sustain a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem through entrepreneur-led economic development.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Establish and maintain relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders including economic development councils, foundations, and entrepreneur focused organizations 
• Create and execute strategy for exponential community growth in key target cities for Techstars
• Critically examine current programs and continuously iterate and rebuild as needed
• Lead recruitment and management of Community Leaders who will support the growth of events in the early founder space

• Represent Techstars in the local and global community as an ecosystem thought leader 

 Qualifications and Skills

Required Experience / Knowledge + Skills

3-5 years of community building experience

• Experience of the startup ecosystem and building communities is a must
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) across projects
• Happy to travel internationally, around once a month. 
• A natural leader with a passion for creating connected communities
• Be a leader with a mastery of written and verbal communication

 Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering projects on-time, within scope and within budget
• Ability to influence people you don’t work directly with every day
• Can work effectively independently and in a team environment
• Meticulous attention to detail, great communication and organisational skills with outstanding work ethic
