Job Description

Position Summary

Rockwell Automation's Early Career Rotational Program is a unique two-year experiential development program for entry-level professionals offering dynamic career growth. The Program affords its associates the opportunity to apply engineering and supply chain management backgrounds in various functional areas In addition, Program associates will receive mentoring and technical skill enhancement from experienced business and functional professionals in this fast paced, high visibility program designed to provide comprehensive broad exposure to multiple functions with Rockwell Automation's Operations and Supply Chain organizations.

The Supply Chain track of this program provides four 6-month rotational opportunities. Rotations are targeted development areas focused in a variety of areas including Materials Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Logistics, and Customer Care, as well as the possibility of one rotation with small group supervision/people management experience within Manufacturing Operations.

Program associates will contribute to the business goals and growth initiatives through cross-functional, purposeful experiences enhancing professional growth while learning about the entire Integrated Supply Chain organization.

Throughout the two-year program, associates will have received:
  • skills in both data analysis and project management.
  • opportunities to participate and lead cross-functional project teams.
  • challenging levels of responsibility, accountability, and visibility within the organization.
  • exposure to and responsibility for industry leading technology solutions.
  • individual training/development and mentoring in a continuous learning environment.


Rotation flexibility is an important component of this Program. This two-year rotation program could include assignments at Rockwell Automation facilities in Wisconsin, Ohio or other US locations.
Each Program associate will perform in a full-time professional capacity throughout each rotation in the program.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum Overall GPA 2.75
  • Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited university
  • Available to relocate multiple times throughout the program
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Preferred GPA 3.0
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Operations Research, Logistics, General Management, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or any Engineering Discipline
  • Proven teamwork collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work results and follow-through on commitments
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills including an attention to detail
  • Previous applicable co-op or intern experience is desirable
