TheEDI Business Systems Specialistassists and contributes to the design, development, and deployment of business systems to meet division goals and objectives.
What you do
- Implement new inbound enrollment EDI files, making appropriate system configuration and setup changes in order to accommodate each new file.
- Request new SFTP connections and troubleshoot any connection issues with external vendors.
- Troubleshoot and correct or notify vendors of any errors or inconsistencies found during the ingestion of regularly scheduled production files.
- Implement and support various types of inbound and outbound files such as 834, 837, 835, 270, 271, 276, 277, FSA, etc. containing data for enrollment, premium, customer setup, and claims processes as needed.
- Implement documented requirements and changes, or identify requirements and changes necessary for systems
- Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
- Hosted partner onboarding and support
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 2-4 years related work experience such as work with FTP, SFTP connections, HIPAA EDI files or other Claims, Insurance Premium, or Financial Data files.
