We're seeking an EDI Developer to join us.

As an EDI Developer, you will be responsible for directly developing and maintaining our electronic data interfaces. If this sounds exciting, and you want to be part of a team of enthusiastic and experienced professionals in an entrepreneurial and fun environment, then please apply today!

What you'll do:

• Perform interface development
• Analyze and develop mapping and translations between the data elements received in various formats from a multitude of medical based vendors into a standard import format to be ingested into the Zotec DB
• Interpret various specification documents from vendors
• Write SQL queries against data warehouses
• Communicate with internal and external partners, including clients and hospital administrative teams
• Coordinate across internal and external partners, including clients
• Demonstrate effective communication
• Complete all other duties as assigned 

What you'll bring to Zotec:

• Knowledge of electronic data interface transactions in support of various file formats (familiarity with txt, xls, csv, pdf, xml file types)
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and priority management skills
• Verbal and written communication skills - both technical and non-technical
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and have the willingness and ability to lead small initiatives and projects
• Ability to manage time, work within a team environment to meet project goals/deadlines
• Must be able to multi-task, be flexible and embrace change
• Experience with Microsoft development tools and technologies including:
• o Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Basic SQL language experience 

Preferred:

• Knowledge of industry standard health data code sets such as ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS
• Understanding of healthcare IT standards and data structures such as HL7
