Job Description
MicroHealth is seeking a skilled and experienced EDI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and cloud-based data integration solutions. This role is crucial in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our EDI systems to ensure efficient and accurate data exchange with our business partners.
*This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain EDI interfaces using industry-standard X-12 formats
- Implement and optimize ETL processes
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand and implement EDI requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues promptly
- Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes and data flows
- Ensure compliance with EDI standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain reports related to EDI transactions and system performance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EDI development and implementation
- Strong knowledge of EDI X-12 standards and transaction sets
- Proficiency in ETL processes and tools
- Solid understanding of data mapping and transformation techniques
- Familiarity with EDI/ETL software and integration platforms
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with AWS Glue
- Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala)
- Knowledge of other EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, HL7)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience in healthcare, retail, or supply chain industries
Salary:
- $115,000-$125,000
